The Best 0% APR Credit Card Offer
The best is a relative term. When it comes to 0% APR credit card offers most will conclude that the best is the one with the longest interest free term -- especially 0% apr credit cards with intro terms of more than 12 months. However, everyone's situation is going to be different. If you are planning on using your card for a major purchase that you know that you can't pay off within the time period allotted, then you may want to take a closer look at the rates that these offers provide when they do in fact start charging interest. If you know that you can be debt free in that time period for that major purchase, the go-to rate is less important.
The other thing to look at is the rewards program. If you're hunting for a credit card offer, especially with a 0% rate, you're probably looking for on that you're going to make purchases with; unless your goal is to save money with a 0% apr balance transfer credit card. Over the past few years, the once ubiquitous platinum card with few features is no longer provided by most issuers. This has to do with the trending savvy consumer's ability to shop around for better, more enticing products. These manifest themselves in the form of 0% apr rewards credit cards. These days, almost every product comes with a rewards program. The current trend among banks is to provide 0% apr cash back credit cards. They've done this because there really isn't anything better than earning rebates on purchases. Consumers are looking now more than ever and 0% cash back credit cards with rewards programs are the types of credit cards they are flocking to.
