Charge Cards

The difference between a charge card and a credit card is that while credit cards allow you to carry a balance and pay it over time, charge cards require full payment at the end of every billing cycle once a statement has been issued. Hence, there is no interest charged on a monthly basis. These cards tend to have high eligibility requirements, with the enticing aspect being the lucrative rewards programs (usually points based) that these cards come with.
